What CMT means
Cut, make and trim is the manufacturing stage: fabric is cut to pattern, assembled on a stitching line, finished and packed. It sits between fabric sourcing and export, and it is where most quality variation actually originates.
A supplier who subcontracts CMT cannot guarantee that your repeat order runs on the same line as the first. We do not subcontract knitwear.

Frequently asked questions
Do you offer CMT-only, with fabric supplied by us?
Yes. Send the fabric and the specification and we will quote the making cost separately.
Is denim stitched in the same unit?
Denim runs through partner facilities with the wash capability that denim finishing requires. Knitted apparel is stitched in our own unit.
