What we collect
Only what you type into the quotation form: your name, company, email address, phone number if you give one, and the details of the enquiry itself — category, quantity, destination, required date and your brief.
We also record the date and time of the submission, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. These are kept for security and to demonstrate when consent was given.
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookies we use are on the internal admin area, which is not accessible to visitors.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry and to prepare a quotation for the work you have described. That is the only purpose you are consenting to when you tick the box on the form.
If you also tick the optional marketing box, we will send occasional emails about our products and capabilities. That is a separate, optional consent — you can decline it and still get your quotation, and you can withdraw it at any time.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for 3 years from the date of submission, then deleted. We keep them that long because manufacturing programmes are often revisited a season or two later, and it is useful to both sides to have the original specification on file.
If you would like your enquiry removed sooner, ask and we will do it.
Who sees it
Staff at UNF Corp Inc. who are involved in quoting and producing your order. Nobody else.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Two service providers process data on our behalf in the course of running this website: our hosting provider, and the email service that delivers your acknowledgement and our notification. They act only on our instructions.
Where it is held
Enquiry records are held on servers operated by our hosting provider. Email delivery may involve processing outside Canada. If the location of your data matters for your organisation's own policies, contact us and we will tell you exactly where it sits.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your enquiry
- withdraw your consent, including the marketing consent, at any time
Email info@unfcorp.com and we will action it. There is no charge, and you do not need to explain why.
Who is responsible
UNF Corp Inc., a company registered in Quebec, Canada, is responsible for the personal information collected through this website.
Our privacy officer is the Director. For any question or complaint about how we handle personal information, contact info@unfcorp.com.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date below. The consent wording on the enquiry form is versioned, so we can always tell you which version you agreed to and when.
